Looking out over Simpson Lagoon (but just a short distance from the oceanfront of Baie Rouge Beach), it is an estate-like setting meant for the most discerning travelers.
As one of the most sought after properties, the villa has an abundance of amenities that make it hard to resist. It starts with that private beach and boat dock facing into the lagoon. You make your way along a garden path to the villa, where you immediately encounter the splendid pool area and covered terraces.
A gazebo provides shade during the heat of the day, but you can also retreat to the many niches that dot the terrace area. An al fresco dining area with barbecue along with a variety of lounging spots will make this part of the villa a major attraction. There is also an outdoor shower and fitness room as part of the terrace amenities.
Just off the terrace, through pillared entrances you find the formal dining room, living room space, and complete gourmet kitchen. From inside of the villa you can access three of the six bedrooms. All of the bedrooms provide guests with the utmost privacy, and contain large and opulent en suite bathrooms, entertainment systems, and excellent views.
Just steps from the lagoon, offering a private beach, and yet just five minutes (by foot) to the popular Cupecoy area and the Baie Rouge beach, the Villa La Salamandre is a truly remarkable find. Note: Please keep in mind that the pools are only heated from December 16th to April 15th. The maximum temperature is 86 degrees Fahrenheit/30 degrees Celsius. Pool temperatures can be affected by rain and wind.

- Cancellation Policy: For cancellations greater than 61 days prior to arrival, 30% of gross rental rate is forfeited. For cancellation between 60 to 31 days of arrival, 55% of gross rental is forfeited. Cancellation less than 30 days, 100% of gross rental is forfeited. While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Maximum guests:
Maximum guests for cocktail event: 140 guests
Maximum guests for a seated dinner event: 120 guests
Rental rates:
The villa can be rented for a 24 hour period. Rates are as follows.
High Season Event Fee (January 6th to April 14th): $6,500
Low Season Event Fee (April 15th to December 16th): $6,500
Refundable security deposit: $5,000
La Salamandre Special Rules In the instance when the function takes place during the guest weekly vacation rental the event rate will be reduced to $5,000.
Terms and conditions:
All rates are quoted in US$ and are subject to an 10% Government Tax & Service. They include the private use of the villa for a 24 hour period for the function set up, the event itself and the clean up afterwards. They also include the services of the villa staff and all utilities (electricity, water, gas).
Accommodation and villa staff gratuities are not included. It is the responsibility of the guests and their event planner to arrange to have the furniture removed, stored and returned to enable the event to take place at the villa.
