St. Martin Blue provides guests an Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) plan option to cover damage claims arising from your property rental. Nothing can ruin a vacation faster than an accident damaging a costly piece of furniture at your vacation rental, saddling guests with a significant unexpected cost that can cost thousands of dollars. With our ADP plan, you can rest easy and be assured that you are well taken care of. Best of all, the purchase of an ADP replaces the security deposit requirement.

Claims are seamlessly handled directly between the property manager and our company to cover the cost of repair or replacement up to the designated coverage amount. Please see Policy Details below for coverage terms and conditions.

Policy Details

  1. No deductible is required.
  2. Plan is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  3. Limited to one Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) plan per vacation rental reservation.
  4. Damage must occur within the designated lease agreement date period.
  5. ADP plan must be bought at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
  6. ADP plans are not eligible for stays involving a celebratory/special event: wedding, bachelor/bachelorette party, receptions, etc.
  7. St. Martin Blue reserves the right to refute, contest or negotiate damage claims upon your behalf. Claims by manager or guest must be verified and may require an affidavit from involved parties.
  8. Guest is responsible for claims in excess of coverage.
  9. Accidental Damage Protection plan does not cover claims in the following situations:
    • Intentional damage or gross negligence
    • Damage incurred in violation of the lease agreement
    • Damage caused by third party, guests under the influence, pets, unauthorized guests, or during an authorized or unauthorized event
    • Does not cover damage by cigarette/cigar use, fire, inclement weather, or natural disaster
    • Does not cover theft, loss or damage of personal effects
    • Claim must be related to the real and documented property of the vacation home
    • Excess cleaning costs, incidental charges or extra charges. Ex. Telephone, utilities, food & beverage outstanding bills
  10. Claim from property manager must be submitted to St. Martin Blue for direct handling and investigation. Claim by property manager must be substantiated by verifiable evidence, receipts and billing. The protection policy will cover the lessor of the replacement or repair cost of the damaged item up to the designated insurance amount. Any amounts over the designated insurance amount will be the responsible of the lessor.

"The villa is beautifully laid out and the view out over the pool towards Anguilla is spectacular. The terraced, tropical garden is lovely. The pool is excellent for swimming or just floating around and the patio beside is perfect for sunning. Loved the pass-through from the kitchen to the outside bar area. St Martin Blue's service was excellent. We blew the lights by plugging in the wrong adaptor and the maintenance people came immediately and fixed it. Blue arranged the rental car, chef service, massages and transport to the airport and all were perfect."
