The Kayak Lagoon Tour is the perfect choice for an experienced kayaker who wants to get in some exercise. Beginners are also welcome as the tour has a paddling introduction course and a safety briefing to start things off. You’ll depart from Kim Sha Beach and head out into the ocean before reaching the Simpson Bay lagoon. If you stick close to the rocks, you can see crabs and iguanas who make their homes there.
While moving through the lagoon, you’ll see mega-yachts docked at the marinas. The turnaround point is about 30 minutes out and offers mangroves where guests can take a break and watch for additional wildlife like sea cucumbers and upside-down jellyfish. Then it’s back to the kayaks to Simpson Bay Beach for a swim before going back to Kim Sha Beach to enjoy conversation and a cold drink. Kayaks, life jackets, snorkeling equipment, drinks, and storage are provided.
Level of difficulty: This tour is moderate, but can be more difficult depending on wind and wave conditions.
