Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, St Martin Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.

Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
What is the cancellation policy? click to open
Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.
What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, St Martin Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.
Do you accept credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, or Visa)? click to open
Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Policies section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.
Are towels and linens provided? click to open
Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.
Is an iron included? click to open
Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.

PROMOTIONS

  • Rent a villa for 7 nights or more with a minimum weekly rate of $3000 and receive a complimentary rental car.

    A Hyundai I10 is provided. Complimentary vehicle delivery to the villa is included. 

    Gas, taxes and insurance are excluded. Guest is responsible for returning the car to the airport office of the rental car company at the end of the stay.

    Rental car can be upgraded for an additional charge.

Covid 19 Policy

For new bookings with travel dates up to December 14, 2020 the manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows:
~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 14 days prior to arrival, 10% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.
~ For cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival, 100% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.

The Covid-19 Modified Cancellation Policy applies under the following conditions: 

~ New dates must be approved by the owner.
~ New dates can only be booked on the same property.
~ Christmas and New Years week, president's week, and Easter week are not available
~ There will be no partial refund if there is a difference in the rate if booked in the Low Season.
~ There will be a rate adjustment if there is a difference in the rate if booked in the High Season
~ A 7-night minimum stay will be required for High Season 2021/22
~ The relaxed cancellation policy does not apply in case of force majeure

If a client is booked to stay on the French side but he or she is landing in St. Maarten then they are eligible for a credit or a cancellation. However, if a client is booked to stay in a St. Maarten property then they are not automatically eligible for cancellation. They are eligible if the booking was made prior to the closure of the border. If the booking is made with the knowledge of the border closure and they can access the property then they are not automatically eligible for a credit or a cancellation. 

Covid-19 extenuating circumstances:

~ Death of the leading guest and additional guests due to Covid-19. You will be required to provide one of the following,
      • Death certificate
      • Obituary
      • News article naming the deceased
      • Police report

~ Transportation disruptions that make it impossible to travel to your destination. This includes travel disruptions caused by natural disasters that make it impossible to reach the property. You’ll be asked to provide documentation from the airline that the flight was canceled and supporting documentation confirming that it's not possible to travel to your destination.
~Travel restrictions imposed by a government, law enforcement agency, or military that restrict travel to the destination.

The villa was great and we had an enjoyable vacation. Location and layout were made it feel much larger as we had plenty of individual space.
The daily housekeeping service was nearly invisible as we were able to enjoy the vacation and not be in the way of the daily needs of the villa.

St Martin Blue was extremely helpful in ensuring a pleasant stay. With everything pre-arranged we were able to sit back and relax. It was a low key vacation as we have visited the island many times .
We left the villa only once for dinner and the service at the restaurant in Porto Cupecoy was ok at best. Many restaurants remain closed on the island due to the pandemic.

The Mumbai Villa was very nice. The location is perfect, with a beach just a a few blocks away. The pool overlooks the ocean and you can spend hours just watching the boats go by. There are markets and restaurants within easy walking distance. The villa was so clean and fresh, it would be impossible to say anything bad about it. We are already planning our next visit.
We were very very pleased with the service we received from St. Martin Blue. Every person that we came in contact with were great. The people living and working on the island were very nice and helpful. We were especially please with the housekeeper Rayma. She is a real gem.
I really cant thing of anything that went wrong. Everything went according to plan.

Beautiful home, tastefully decorated. Large spacious bedrooms and baths. Well stocked supplies in kitchen. Outdoor seating for meals as well as a grill. Beautiful pool and a lot of lounge chairs. Close to beach entrance. Was very pleased with the whole experience.

I am just back from a week at villa Mumbai and it was fantastic. We usually always stay at the cliff but we decided to stay at Mumbai as we had friends stay here recently who said they wouldnt stay anywhere else so of course we had to check it out. Well they were right- it was the best trip I have had on the island so far. The villa itself is gorgeous – so modern and the views are only wow. The beach right in front isnt the best – I heard it can depend on the weather so there was hardly any sand while we were there but we walked to the main cupecoy beach and swam there most days. The Blue Mall shopping center was also walking distance from the villa which was awsome as me an my girls love a bit of shopping. We will be booking Mumbai next year again.

Mumbai was the perfect location! We toured most of the island by car and believe this is the nicest part of the island! Porto Cupecoy nearby makes grocery shopping convenient. Plus the outside deck and pool make the villa very comfortable and relaxing. You can walk striaght down to the beach or just relax in the pool, with a great view of beach activity. There are a few restaurants nearby at Porto Cupecoy but most of our dinners were in the Simpson Bay area which is only a 5-10 minute drive. The only complaints with the villa itself is the sliding doors- they are a little tricky and sometimes lock up if you turn too much, and the beds-they are a little too firm for my preference.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The view is spectacular. Pillows could be more comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Access to the laundry room makes luggage less big and is very convenient.

Spectacular, this was the best villa we\'ve stayed in by far, an A+++. The only suggestion I\'d make would be to have more bowls in the kitchen and cable in the bedrooms. Other than that it was perfect. The speakers on the outside in the pool area really set things off. Listening to some good lounge music at night while drinking wine in the pool was amazing
