Villa Falaise des Oiseaux St Martin. You may wonder at the name of the villa Falaise des Oiseaux, which translates from French as "cliff birds", but it makes perfect sense once you arrive. This is because this three-bedroom gem in the Falaise des Oiseaux area of St Martin really does perch in the cliffs above the sea, offering stunning views of the coast and islands in the distance.

Tucked among mature palms and plantings, the classic villa features an irresistible pool terrace that frames an unusually shaped pool that is surrounded by oversized sun beds and dining spots. The enormous, five-acre yard will tempt you to savor the sea breezes and enjoy every sunrise or sunset, but the villa itself is a wonderful find.

Just a few steps up from the pool, the villa features a large covered terrace where casual dining and lounging become a pure delight. Step inside through the glass doors and you enter the stylish and charming great room. With high, white ceilings and a pale palette accented with bold hues of red and natural wood, this space features a casual living room, dining area and access to the charming kitchen. Large and colorful, it is a space where everyone will enjoy gathering to prepare meals, snacks, and drinks - and all in view of the sea.

The two bedrooms are amazing spaces that feature private terraces, spacious interiors, king beds, and large ensuite baths. Each offers entertainment systems, and the villa is equipped with WiFi, iPod docks, and high speed Internet.  The third bedroom is located in it's own private cottage with mini kitchen.

The Villa Falaise des Oiseaux is a wonderful place for a family or set of friends to retreat. It is close to some of the best shops, restaurants and attractions of the island, but it is also a wonderful little world of its own. Whether you need to enjoy a private and luxurious base for your exploration of St. Martin or you want to just arrive in paradise and relax, this is a perfect spot.

Great house with a great view. Quiet and private

Service from questions and preparation before the trip to service while staying at the house is excellent. It makes traveling more predictable and less stressful which makes for a great trip.

This villa with a million dollar view is nothing short of amazing. It is without exception the most beautiful vacation location we've ever experienced. My understanding is this villa was rebuilt following hurricane Irma... everything looks so brand new and clean and the lovely housekeeper Miss Claudia keeps it that way.

This was our first-ever experience at St. Martin and obviously, our first with St. Martin Blue. Let me just say this was one of the most pleasant vacation experiences we have ever enjoyed! We stayed at Falaise des Oiseaux.... the villa is beautiful and the view from there is breath-taking. Nancy and I did a 90min couples massage on the breezeway and this without a doubt, the most amazing massage experience we've every had... highly recommend!! We used the SXMHalle food delivery service and again, I highly recommend it. We were well stocked upon arrival! Also, the auto rental process through St. Martin Blue went without a hitch!! Big thanks to Gioviani for all he did to make this click!! I also want to thank Mary Pati (concierge) for being so attentive on the front-end in answering our questions promptly and completely. We threw her two curve balls that I won't even begin to explain but only say that she responded professionally and to our ultimately complete satisfaction in sorting out the booking arrangements! Bless her! One of the other added pluses for this vacation was meeting the housekeeper... Miss Claudia. This woman is amazing and by the end of our stay, the four of us, considered her like family. We truly look forward to seeing her again!! Just a beautiful lady. Anyway, I have rambled enough.... I hate doing reviews BUT I would be remiss if I didn't share how wonderful this St. Martin Blue experience was... The St. Martin Blue "team" did a wonderful job making sure that this was the best vacation we've ever had... Thank you!! We loved EVERY minute of it!

Overall, excellent. It was exactly what I wanted. I had been advised before I arrived of its 'deficiencies', which didn't bother me at all. There is a wind blowing most of the time; this I knew about from friends who had previously stayed there. More detailed instructions on how to use equipment such as the DVD, outdoor stereo, would be useful. This villa is not for people who are looking for super luxury, but rather for those who want a comfortable, unpretentious house. I'm considering returning next winter for two stays of 10 days each. Claudia, the housekeeper, was very helpful. The gardener and pool people were never bothersome. Joel could have spent more time initially, explaining in greater detail the various workings of the villa, but he answered his cell phone when I needed answers.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Are we protected from fraud? click to open
Yes. St. Martin Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, St. Martin Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
What is the cancellation policy? click to open
Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, St. Martin Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Staff section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.
Are towels and linens provided? click to open
Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.

Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.
