Forget front-row-seats, Villa RockSea is the backstage pass of luxury villas in the Caribbean. Villa RockSea is most likely so named because it sprawls low on the beach like a stage. It has three houses and a pool terrace, each connected to one another by stone and driftwood pathways that pave the way through the sand. That’s right… RockSea is on the beach. Covered in rock-and-roll prints, montages, and a few amps with electric guitars stashed here and there, Villa RockSea occupies a private beach acreage separated from the shore by a low stone wall. The black pool towels with large red lips (reminiscent of a Rolling Stones) album are monogrammed RockSea. The black-on-red color scheme matches the spectacular rockfish-red tile in the pool which is framed by a driftwood terrace. A driftwood and wicker card-table sits poolside along with sunbathing lounge chairs and a large parasol. These face over the pool towards the ocean and the outdoor dining suite which comes complete with kitchenette, alfresco-dining table, an upstairs patio with parasols, as well as an ocean view.

A barbecue afternoon soiree (prepared by an in-house chef or a catered) can be arranged by complimentary concierges who are world-class experts in hospitality. They make sure rock star treatment begins before guests even arrive with arrangements for transportation, bookings, rentals, and other logistics in their practiced hands. What else needs to be said? There are two king bedrooms and one queen, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each is a personality unto itself and staged as such on its own foundation, though all have similar amenities.  Television, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, wi-fi, vanities, showers, water closets, and balconies that one can walk right off of onto the sand are in every room.

The main living space is decorated with a beautiful bleached-white, willow-cane sofa set around a glass table on a hand-woven rug. There’s a large, double-layered, circular mirror on one side of the room and a large print of a rock and roll band on-stage, as if to inspire an impromptu jam session on the beach, which is just off the veranda.
