Villa Nid D'Amour St Martin.  Its name translates from French to "love nest," and the Villa Nid D'Amour in the Baie Rouge area of St. Martin is both nest-like and romantic. However, it is also a perfect choice for those who want to get away from it all with their family or closest friends.

The two bedroom villa sits on a hill and overlooks the beach and the sprawling tropical landscape below. In fact, the view is so lovely that the villa is known specifically for its setting, making it popular and highly sought after.

Though the view is reason enough to book a holiday, the amenities are impressive as well. With two floors of living space, there is a unique pool and sun terrace area that offers a waterfall feature in the pool along with an array of remarkably comfortable lounges and sun chairs. The upper level features a sundeck with cafe furnishings from which to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails.

With its room design, the villa relies on a classic open floor plan that includes a living room with entertainment system, a well-designed formal dining room, and a complete and gourmet kitchen. With its marble topped island serving as a breakfast bar, you have several places from which to enjoy meals and snacks, and you will appreciate the openness of the design that ensures you enjoy sea breezes from almost every space.

The two bedrooms have interior and exterior access, large and luxurious en suite bathrooms, and entertainment systems. With their sea views, they are truly some of the most romantic rooms you will find.

The property also offers an outdoor shower, a Jacuzzi, and is equipped with Wi-Fi throughout.

Designed with romance in mind, the Villa Nid D'Amour is a lovely choice for couples but also for families who want to enjoy the many excellent amenities and the ideal location of this world class villa.
Note: Please keep in mind that the pools are only heated from December 16th to April 15th. The maximum temperature is 86 degrees Fahrenheit/30 degrees Celsius. Pool temperatures can be affected by rain and wind.

We have fallen in love with this house and will be returning in December, then again in 2024. The location couldn't be better--within minutes to/from the airport and quite close to Marigot, "capital" of French St. Martin. Its bi-weekly market is wonderful. Nid d'Amour is private, quiet and super comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the separate glassed dining room with its view of twinkling island lights at night. The daytime view from the house and terrace is fabulous, over Baie Rouge and Etang Rouge.

We love Nid D'Amour for several reasons. Of course, number one is being welcomed by Paula! The second is that the layout of the residence and the pool work perfectly for us. We love the geographic location and the site-specific views. Lastly, the proximity gives us easy access to Marigot, Cupecoy, Jordan Village, and Simpson Bay for shopping and dining and several choice beaches should we want to exchange the infinity pool for sand and surf. All our SXM needs are met with Nid D'Amour. See you next year!!!

Nearly perfect. Loved the house. Staff was amazing. Unfortunately, the beach was filled with rocks which made it impossible to go in - but i hear that in two weeks the sand will fill in. Neighbors were so nice. The property is gorgeous. Good wifi - some issues with the tv's but that got fixed. It was truly heavenly to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to see the surf. Had a chef for 5 days which was nice but there are so many great restaurants around which were not busy and felt very safe (COVID). The house could use a few more servicing dishes for chef. Janet truly took care of us. Will be coming back!

Nid D'amour was magnificent. House is updated, clean, comfortable, and the view is spectacular. Pool was warm (important for my husband), beds INCREDIBLY comfy, kitchen stocked. (they could update their music situation which is circa 1980, but not listening to our own music was eclipsed by views and other house comforts) As great as the house is, the real bonus of this property was the concierge, Axel, and house keeper, Paula. The two took care of our every need and curiosity and were available to us 24/7. No matter how beautiful a spot is, it's the people who truly make a vacation. They were 5 full stars.

Isle Blue could not have been easier to work with. Planning a last minute vacation and they were very accommodating on money transfers and everything. Wonderful.

We just returned from a week in Nid d'Amour, a gorgeous villa with a very pretty view. Although the weather in St. Martin wasn't very good, we were extremely comfortable here and found lots of good restaurants within 15 minutes of Nid 'Amour. Because of its location, we had private access to some beaches which was great. The pool is beautiful and we even ended up using the hot tub. Paula, the housekeeper, respected the privacy we desired and was very friendly. A great week at Nid d'Amour celebrating 25 years of marriage.

Other than the power dying a few times, everything was great. Paula is lovely. Place was wonderful. Loved the VOIP phone...hot tub, gym. Only negative was no lap pool.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Are we protected from fraud? click to open
Yes. St. Martin Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, St. Martin Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
What is the cancellation policy? click to open
Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, St. Martin Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Staff section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.

A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.
