If you have a vision of a classic Caribbean property in mind as you contemplate your next visit to St. Martin, it is probably Villa Belle Fontaine that has been floating through your thoughts. A true classic in West Indies design and style, this five-bedroom gem offers a profound number of amenities and all in the exclusive Terres Basses area of the island.

Let's begin with the heart of the property - the enormous wooden deck with massive swimming pool. With a inset seated area leading to a larger swimming pool, this spot will become one of your favorite places to watch the light and the color of the sea change throughout the day. Whether you lounge or dine on the covered gazebo at one end or you spend leisure time with friends and family beneath the portico, this central area is absolutely absorbing.

Naturally, you will want more than a great pool area, and the villa really delivers. The five bedrooms are enormous, elegantly decorated, and feature impressive views. They have en suite bathrooms and ensure optimal privacy.

The shared living spaces (recently renovated) include more classic styling. The enormous gourmet kitchen opens to the terrace through elegant archways and a breakfast bar. It is adjacent to a formal dining area, and this connects to a large and comfortable living room. All of these spaces lead directly outdoors too, so even as you lounge on a sofa or prepare meals and snacks, you will feel as if you are out on that gorgeous, breezy terrace.

If you want a magnificent and classic setting for a tropical escape with friends or family, the Villa Belle Fontaine will be hard to beat and even harder to forget. Set in a premier spot, it is close to all that St. Martin has to offer, and yet it is a world of its own.

Belle Fontaine was far superior to a hotel for our family. Loved the pool, the large covered outside area and the rooms are very nice. The kitchen was a minor trouble spot, possibly due to an aged electrical system. The refrigerator tripped the circuit breaker at least twice, the microwave had to be replaced and the stove top was twitchy. Overall, issues were addressed by management and Belle Fontaine served us well.

I was impressed with how smoothly everything went.

Theo, the concierge, was very attentive to our needs and did an incredible job. He quickly responded to questions we had. And I can’t say enough good things about Jenny, the maid that came and cleaned. She went overboard to help us with things I’m sure was out of her job duties. She was awesome!!! Beautiful home with all wonderful amenities!

Jenny was amazing could not say enough. Theo was amazing as well. I did get hurt while there and Theo jumped right in and got me medical attention. Jenny was so kind when I for released from hospital Jenny would talk to me and make sure that I had everything I needed. Such a kind hearted person. This company is lucky to have these people. My family loved this home. We enjoyed the pool, open first floor, and just being there. Our housekeeper Jenny was a huge plus, the house was always clean. Our chef Tim, made every meal a dining delight. The staff was so friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this home.

Belle Fontaine was everything I expected and more. Our housekeeper Jenni was absolutely amazing and very help and knowledge able about the house. She was able to answer the majority of our questions and the ones she could not she got answered for us in a timely manner. Our cook and his assistant were wonderful and very professional as well and the food was amazing. It was amazing! I can not wait to book again. . Belle Fontaine was even better in person than in the photos. It was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The views were amazing. The new pool fantastic. The rooms all so spacious, clean. This villa is amazing. The pool was gorgeous and clean. The outside space and general set up was perfect. Our whole group felt at home and completely relaxed. Everything about Belle Fontaine was absolutely spectacular. From the minute we walked in the front door to see the pool and the view were amazing. All of the rooms and bathrooms were even more than expected. Everything was very comfortable for the ten of us. We especially loved eating at the outdoor table with a view. Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Are we protected from fraud? click to open
Yes. St. Martin Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, St. Martin Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
What is the cancellation policy? click to open
Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, St. Martin Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Staff section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.
Are towels and linens provided? click to open
Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.
Is an iron included? click to open
Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.

Maximum guests for a seated dinner event: 40 guests

Rental rates:
The villa requires a one week mininum rental of the villa at the regular rental rates. The event fee is an additional fee required to hold an event at the villa.

Event fee with 20 to 60 guests: $1000
Event fee with 61 to 100 guests: $2000

Refundable security deposit: $4000

Terms and conditions:
The villa does not allow unregistered guests to stay overnight. Overnight guests are restricted to the 2 guests per rented bedroom and must be declared. Guests are responsible for set-up and clean up of the event. The event may not occur within 24 hours of departure. For example, with a Saturday departure guests must hold the event on Thursday or sooner. Guests must abide to local ordinances.
