Recently refurbished, the inviting Villa La Josephine is a truly remarkable place to enjoy a visit to St. Martin. Set in the private community of Terres Basses it looks out over the gorgeous Baie Longue Beach and the sea beyond, and though it is surrounded by mature tropical growth, including swaying palms, it also features its own gardens as well.
The villa has been designed in a classic Caribbean style, and so each of the buildings offer a cottage or bungalow-like feel and esthetic. Connected via cool and shady terraces of colorful tile, they lead the visitor through an impressive array of amenities and settings. The heart of the villa is the large, infinity edge pool that stretches from the sundeck and runs in between two of the main structures, forming a sort of shady grotto from which to enjoy the view.
The main portion of the covered terrace features an al fresco dining area, a large lounge area, a barbecue area, and another sundeck. This area looks out to the view, but also into the shared living spaces as well. A large living room, decorated in a comfortable and casual tone (and featuring an entertainment system) leads into the enormous gourmet kitchen. This space features a comfortable breakfast bar, and it leads to yet another lounge spot.
Offering up to six bedrooms, and capable of accommodating 12 guests, the villa does not run short on amenities in the private living areas. Excellent decor, opulent en suite bathrooms, and large beds ensure that there is a perfect spot for any guests. The villa has five king size bedrooms and one with two full sized beds, there are six and a half bathrooms available, and only one bedroom has interior access - meaning everyone enjoys the very utmost in privacy.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
